The lost mounds of western new york

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What about the mention of the use of cement found in the Book of Mormon?

A: The text clearly states that the primary and miost used material was wood. The time frame in which they sed cement wa only for a few decades and dores not constitute the large stone structures of Central and South America which have no cement in them.

Q: What about the age of the New York Mounds some say they are not that old?

A: This is a false assumption based on inadequate research, the mounds are of different ages the oldest ones being in Ohio and the newest ones being in te Finger Lakes region. No one has yet conducted archealogical digs deep enough to reach the Book of Mormon time frame.

What about all the ruins in Central and South America, are not these the remains of the Book of Mormon people?

A: This again is an asumption and has never been able to be verified, I suggest because these are the ruins of other peoples. For tears in fact for decades Book of Mormon scholars have been looking in th wrong place. The Hill Cumorah of the Book of Mormon is in New York, in my opinion there is not nor has there ver been an earlier Hill Cumorah in Central or South America. This theory is beginning to be recognized as false and not in compliance with the Book of Mormon Text, just as the time frame of these southern civilizations does not match the Book of Mormon era
